Aims |

Main aims of Nurses and Midwives Association of Slovenia are to:
- coordinate the activities of nursing and midwifery care
- prepare legislation
- represent political positions which allow for and assure further professional development of nursing and midwifery,
and secure appropriate status for nurses and midwives in the society
- monitor and participate in education of nurses and midwives
- develop research in nursing and midwifery care
The main ethical principles guiding the work of nurses, midwives and nurse assistants are listed in the
Code of Ethics for Nurses and Nurse Assistants of Slovenia (17 February 2005) and the International Code of Ethics for Midwives ( … ).
